While my Custom range is commissioned by a client and designed specifically to their requirements, my Collection is a range of affordable handmade furniture for clients who don’t necessarily want a one-off piece.
My first range within this Collection is named CPH after my favourite travel destination: Copenhagen. The design of the CPH range harks back to my Danish origins and will be strong, quiet companions in anybody’s home. The range reflects simplicity, austerity and minimalism, utilising strict design parameters with an emphasis on quality construction.
I believe that the simpler a piece looks, the more the emphasis should be on quality craftsmanship. Without any superfluous elements to distract the eye, the construction quality needs to be perfect. The result is beautiful, reasonably priced furniture that will last generations.
The CPH furniture pictured on this website has been built from White Oak, but it may also be made in American Black Walnut. The fabric, ‘Wisp’ from the Amatheon range by Warwick Fabrics, has been upholstered by Danish upholsterer Alf Berg. Clients can choose from a range of fabric options and this choice will determine the final price.
